Bruschetta al Pomodoro
Grilled bread rubbed with garlic, topped with ripe tomatoes and basil. The perfect antipasto to start any Italian meal.
Ingredients
- 4 thick slices of rustic bread
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- Fresh basil, torn
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Grill or toast the bread slices until golden and slightly charred.
- Rub each slice with the cut side of the garlic.
- Mix diced tomatoes with basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spoon onto bread. Serve immediately.
